Complete Casting Set for Red Bull's Restoration Comedy Benefit

Red Bull Theater has announced complete casting for its upcoming Revelation Reading Series benefit performance of Amy Freed's Restoration Comedy at Theater at St. Clement's at 7pm on Monday, September 15.

The reading, to be directed by Jesse Berger, will feature Tony Award nominee Reg Rogers, Ugly Betty star Michael Urie, as well as Danny Scheie, Caralyn Kozlowski, Jeff Biehl, Jane Carr, Susannah Schulmann, Jeff Biehl, Gregory Woodell, Bhama Roget, Paul Mullins, Katie Barrett, and Arthur Barlow.

Among the evening's special guests will be Robert Cuccioli and Laila Robins, David Greenspan, Matthew Rauch, Marc Vietor, and Randy Harrison. There will be a pre-show reception at 6:30pm as well as a post-show VIP reception.

The reading series continues with Ben Jonson's The Silent Woman, starring Oscar winner F. Murray Abraham (September 29); David Greenspan's A Horse's Ass (October 6), Percy Bysshe Shelley's The Cenci, starring Lisa Harrow and Roger Rees (October 27), John Marston's The Malcontent, starring Matthew Rauch (November 17), Mark Lamos' staging of Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus (December 8), Luis Alfaro's Electricidad (January 12), Peter Shaffer's The Royal Hunt of the Sun (February 23), and Miguel de Cervantes The Siege of Numantia (March 2).
