On Tuesday, September 4, the Roundabout Theatre Company hosted a special press event to introduce two of its upcoming shows. Here's the beautiful Claire Danes, who will play Eliza Doolittle in the company's production of Pygmalion.

On September 5, Bravo Television and Entertainment Weekly hosted a special premiere of the new series Tim Gunn's Guide to Style at the Soho Grand. The evening's guests included two Tony Award winners, Christine Ebersole, who's sure to get applause this winter when she plays Margo Channing in Applause...

...and Jane Krakowski, a co-star of the Emmy-nominated comedy series 30 Rock, which begins its second season on NBC on October 4.

Speaking of television, Lee Pace and Jim Dale (another Tony winner) showed up at New World Stages on September 8 for the New York premiere of their new ABC-TV series Pushing Daisies, which also stars Tony winners Kristin Chenoweth and Swoosie Kurtz.

On Sunday, September 9, TheaterMania.com provided live entertainment at the 3rd Avenue Community Fair in Manhattan. Here are Grease: You're The One That I Want semifinalists Austin Miller and Kate Rockwell performing a number from Tully (In No Particular Order), which is part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival.

The TheaterMania stage's host, the always affable Jim Caruso, caught up with pal Kate Shindle. The former Miss America and Legally Blonde co-star performed a song from her upcoming NYMF show Sympathy Jones.

On Sunday night, Edge, Paul Alexander's riveting biodrama about the late poet Sylvia Plath, opened for a four-week run at the ArcLight Theatre. At the after party at ArteCafe, the show's amazing star, Angelica Torn, got a hug from her biggest fan: her dad, the great actor, Rip Torn.
