Broadway stars Aaron Lazar, Kelli O'Hara, and Barbara Walsh will join composers Ricky Ian Gordon, Ben Moore, and Larry O'Keefe for Trunk Songs, a benefit performance for the Songbook Project, to be held at 7pm on Sunday, September 24 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre at the West Bank Café (407 West 42nd Street).

The concert will feature the work of the three composers, who will also perform. Gordon wrote the score for the Off-Broadway show My Life with Albertine and his songs have been recorded by such singers as Audra McDonald and Dawn Upshaw. Moore's work has been sung by such classical musical greats as Deborah Voigt, Jerry Hadley, and Nathan Gunn. O'Keefe is the composer of Bat Boy: The Musical, Cam Jansen, Sarah, Plain and Tall, and the upcoming Broadway musical Legally Blonde.

Lazar recently starred on Broadway as Fabrizio in The Light in the Piazza and will play Enjolras in the upcoming revival of Les Miserables. O'Hara is a two-time Tony Award nominee, for Piazza and The Pajama Game and starred in Gordon's My Life with Albertine. Walsh has appeared on Broadway in Big, Blood Brothers, and Falsettos, and will play Joanne in the upcoming revival of Company.

Tickets for the show are $18 and there is a $15 food/drink minimum. Call 212-695-6909 for reservations.
