Kevin Spacey Developing HBO Series The Crux

Tony Award winner Kevin Spacey is developing a new HBO series, The Crux, in which he will play a religious leader, according to published reports.

Spacey won the Tony Award as Best Featured Actor in a Play for Lost in Yonkers and received a Best Actor nomination for The Iceman Cometh. His other stage credits include Ghosts, Hurlyburly, Long Day’s Journey Into Night, and A Moon for the Misbegotten.He is also the artistic director of London’s Old Vic Theatre.

Spacey won Oscars for his work in American Beauty and The Usual Suspects. His upcoming projects include Casino Jack, in which he plays disgraced Washington power broker Jack Abramoff, and the comedy Father of Invention.
