David Staller will direct the reading.
As previously reported, Charles Busch, David Cote, Peter Frechette, Jason Graae, Judith Ivey, Daniel Jenkins, John McMartin, Charlotte Moore, Liz Morton, Kerry O'Malley, Marian Seldes, and Tom Viola will be among the performers in Project Shaw's Super Shaw, a special, one-night-only evening of wish-list Shaw to be held at the Players Club, on Tuesday, September 29 at 7pm.
The evening, to be directed by Staller, will feature the actors in roles they have always wanted to perform, including Seldes as Higgins and Busch as Eliza Doolittle in a scene from Pygmalion and McMartin as Don Juan and Ivey as The Devil in Don Juan in Hell. Other scenes will feature Jenkins as Captain Shotover in Heartbreak House, Graae as Bluntschli in Arms and the Man, and several performers in surprise roles.
