Cahoon, Davis, Ephraim, Huffman, O'Connor, Wooten et al. Cast in 2008 NYMF shows

Additional casting has been announced for select shows in the 2008 New York Musical Theatre Festival. The fifth annual festival, which runs September 15-October 5, will include 24 full productions, a dance series, a developmental series, concerts and special events.

Tony winner Cady Huffman will star in Wood, a modern day re-imagining of A Midsummer Night's Dream, featuring music by Julianne Wick Davis with book and lyrics by Dan Collins. The cast also features Stanley Bahorek, Joe Cassidy, Maurice Murphy, Ryan Ratliff, Roland Rusinek, Jason Michael Snow, Patrick Ryan Sullivan, Ben Thompson, and Kate Wetherhead.

Diane Davis and Jason Wooten star in the title roles of Bonnie & Clyde: A Folktale, featuring book and lyrics by Tony nominee Hunter Foster, and music by Drama Desk nominee Rick Crom. This musical about America's most romantic gangsters also features Melissa Rain Anderson, Kevin Cahoon, Kevin Carolan, Rachel Coloff, Dennis Holland, Julie Johnson, Dana Steer, Julius Thomas III, Stephanie Umoh, and Darryl Winslow.

Zach Fischer and Will Taylor, who have both performed in Broadway's A Chorus Line, will star in Mathew Loren Cohen's musical two-hander Jason & Ben, about two songwriters in a game of sexual and psychological manipulation.

The cast of College the Musical -- featuring book, music, and lyrics by Drew Fornarola and Scott Elmegreen -- will include Marie-France Arcilla, Juliana Ashley Hansen, Molly Ephraim, Brandon Espinoza, Casey Ford Alexander, Damon Gravina, Rob Hancock, Emily Klein, Kyra Lorraine Selman, Michael Jennings Mahoney, Eric Petersen, and Sandy Rosenberg. Jeremy Dobrish will direct this tuner about modern campus life.

Caroline O'Connor and Paul Kandel lead the cast of The Hatpin, with book & lyrics by James Millar and music by Peter Rutherford. This musical about a woman who advertises her baby in a newspaper classifieds section also features Casey Erin Clark, Alexis Fishman, Sharone Halevy, Gemma-Ashley Kaplan, Matt Leisy, Mary Catherine McDonald, Michael Pizzi, and Billy Clark Taylor.
