Lance Bass, currently starring as Corny Collins in Hairspray, will host this year's Broadway on Broadway, an annual free concert to be held in Times Square on Sunday, September 16 beginning at 11:30a.m.

The event will also feature appearances by stars from upcoming productions, and Broadway's current hits, including Avenue Q, Chicago, A Chorus Line, The Color Purple, Curtains, The Drowsy Chaperone, Grease, Jersey Boys, Legally Blonde: The Musical, Les Misérables, The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, Mary Poppins, Monty Python's Spamalot, The Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Spring Awakening, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Wicked, Hairspray, and more.

Bass is best known as a member of the once-popular boy band N'Sync. He will soon be seen on the big screen in I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry and has appeared on the ABC reality series Dancing With the Stars as well as on the TV series Touched by an Angel, 7th Heaven, and Kim Possible.
