Hart, Patterson, Schaffel, Stout, Wilkof, et al. Set for NYMF

Additional casting has been announced for the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF), which runs at various Manhattan venues, September 17-October 14.

Linda Hart and Joel Blum will co-star in Gemini: The Musical, based on Albert Innaurato's play of the same name. Mary Stout will be featured in The Boy in the Bathroom, about a reclusive boy who lives in his bathroom, fed thin, flat food by his mother. Tom Deckman, Meredith Patterson, Marla Schaffel, Christopher Shyer, and James Stovall will be among the cast of Goin' Down Swinging, about a boozing, womanizing crooner haunted by the misdeeds of his past.

Garrett Long, Nick Cearley, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Ann Morrison, and Brandon Wardell will be among the cast of Bernice Bobs Her Mullet, based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's popular 1920 story "Bernice Bobs Her Hair." Karen Murphy and Shonn Wiley will star in Mud Donahue & Son, about a spirited young hoofer who runs away from home to pursue a career in vaudeville.

Danielle Ferland, Emily Swallow, and Jon Patrick Walker will star in Like Love, an intimate three-hander with a sensual, jazz-influenced score. Lee Wilkof ,Gregg Henry, and Sare Rue will appear in Little Egypt, about a shy mall security guard who woos an even shyer waitress in Little Egypt, Illinois. Rob Evan and Amy Bodnar have joined the previously announced Barry Pearl in the sci-fi spoof The Brain from Planet X.
