Barbara Cook, Angela Lansbury, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Vanessa Williams, and More Contribute Items for Mr. President Auction

Theatrical Gems has announced items featured in an online auction that is being held in conjunction with their previously announced one-night-only benefit performance of Irving Berlin’s long-lost Broadway musical Mr. President. 100% of auction proceeds benefit The
Actors Fund.

Auction items will include a poster signed by the original revival cast of A Little Night Music, including Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury; two tickets to Come Fly Away on Broadway and a poster signed by the original cast; a poster signed by the original cast of Sondheim on Sondheim, including Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Tom Wopat, and Erin Mackey; two tickets to Rock of Ages; a poster signed by the original cast of Memphis, including Montego Glover and Chad Kimball; a Mary Poppins package worth over $280, and more.

As previously reported, Larry Daggett, Kimberly Faye Greenberg, and Erin Mackey will star in Mr. President, at The Mainstage Theatre (416 West 42nd Street) on Sunday, July 18 at 8pm. Jacob Shoesmith-Fox will direct, with musical direction by Steven H. Taylor.

The cast will also feature Chuck Karel, Joy Hermalyn, Kenneth Kasch, Eric Noone, Tara Novie, and Spencer Andrew Taylor, DeeGee Brandemour, Tricia Burns, Brianne Cobuzzi, Jody Cook, Gregory Couba, Benjamin Farha, Jonathan G Galvez, Maggie Graham, Christina Noone, Roger Rifkin, Michal Salonia, Stacey Scotte, Lawrence E.
