(© Joseph Marzullo/WENN) | Hope Davis will replace Julianne Moore as Hillary Clinton in HBO's new film The Special Relationship revolving around the turbulent political relationship in the 1990s between British Prime Minister Tony Blair and President Clinton.
The film will be directed by Richard Loncraine and feature a script by Peter Morgan, author of The Queen and Frost/Nixon. It will star Dennis Quaid as Bill Clinton, and Michael Sheen and Helen McCrory as Tony and Cherie Blair, respectively.
Davis received a 2009 Tony Award nomination for her work in God of Carnage. Her many film and television credits include In Treatment, Six Degrees, Proof, and About Schmidt.
