Suzanne Cryer, Dan Gunther, Robert Sean Leonard, James Pickens, Jr., Ron Rifkin, Holland Taylor, and Noah Wyle will star in a free reading of Jonathan Feldman's HisStory, at 7pm on Sunday, July 15 and 22 at the Rubicon Theatre in Ventura, California. The reading will be directed by Leigh Silverman.

The play centers on a filmmaker who sets out to make a docudrama about a man whose college roommate went on to become the President of the United States. Feldman is the author of the play The Buddy System and is best known as the screenwriter of Swing Kids and one of the writers of the HBO miniseries From the Earth to the Moon.

The Rubicon's "Fashion Forms-Plays-in-Progress" series will also feature readings of Entertaining Chazz, by actor-author Bradford Dillman at 8pm on Tuesday, July 17 and 2pm on Monday, July 23. The play is set in 1938 in a palatial Santa Cruz estate where the members of a wealthy and influential family have gathered. The cast features Christian Conteras, Joseph Fuqua, Leonard Kelly-Young, Kara Revel, and Rudolph Willrich, under the direction of Jenny Sullivan.

Reservations are recommended. Call 805-667-2900 or visit www.rubicontheatre.org.
