Wayne Brady, Brad Garrett, et al. Set for Toronto Just for Laughs Festival Galas

Broadway veterans Wayne Brady and Brad Garrett will be among the gala hosts at the Toronto Just for Laughs Festival, according to a report in Variety.

The Festival will offer six gala performances from July 8-10. They will feature such performers as Mike Birbiglia, Gabriel Igelsias, Harland Williams, Tim Minchin, Sebastian Maniscalo, Elon Gold, Tommy Tiernan, John Heffron, Mike Wilmot, Jimmy Carr and Todd Barry, along with guest hosts Garry Shandling, Demetri Martin, and Louis C.K.


Brady appeared in the Broadway production of Chicago and is currently appearing at Las Vegas’ Venetian Hotel. He is also set to appear this summer in the Hollywood Bowl’s production of Rent and has received a 2010 Daytime Emmy Award nomination for hosting the game show Let’s Make a Deal.

Garrett appeared opposite Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick in the Broadway revival of The Odd Couple. He is best known for his work on the television series ‘Til Death and Everybody Loves Raymond, for which he earned three Emmy Awards.
