National Asian American Theater Festival Set for NYC in October

The second National Asian American Theater Festival, presented by CAATA (Consortium of Asian American Theaters & Artists), will play New York City October 13-18, at both Theater for the New City and the Julia Miles Theater.
Highlights will include new works by Kristina Wong, Alice Tuan, Soo-Jin Lee, Sheetal Gandhi, and Shishir Kurup, along with readings of new plays from Ma-Yi Theatre Company’s Writers Lab, the National Asian American Theater Company’s new adaptation of The Seagull, and Pan Asian Repertory Theatre’s new musical Imelda.
