David Hyde Pierce, Debra Monk, Chita Rivera, Karen Ziemba, et al. Set for Broadway Close Up: John Kander

Chita Rivera, Brandon Victor Dixon, David Margulies, and Jill Paice will join the previously announced David Hyde Pierce, Debra Monk, Karen Ziemba, Marin Mazzie, Jason Danieley, and Michael Minarik for the Broadway Close Up series' focus on John Kander, to be held at the Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center on Monday, October 26 at 8pm.

As previously announced, the series will begin at 8pm on Monday, October 5 with Girls Like Us based on the book by Sheila Weller and featuring the music of Carole King, Joni Mitchell, and Carly Simon. Weller will be joined by Liz Callaway, Ann Hampton Callaway, Capathia Jenkins, Jessica Molaskey, and Barbara Walsh. At 8pm on November 16, Liz Callaway will host the 9th annual Bound for Broadway concert; at 8pm on December 7, Forbidden Broadway creator Gerard Alessandrini will be on hand to revisit the show's past 25 years, with Donna English, Nora Mae Lyng, James Donegan, and Christina Bianco; and at 8pm on Thursday, December 31, Groovelily will perform their holiday-themed musical Striking 12.
