Soho Think Tank has announced selections for its 16th annual Ice Factory Festival, to be presented at the Ohio Theatre, July 8-August 15.

The festival will kick off with A Wonderland (July 8-11), written and directed by Eamonn Farrell, with music by William Antoniou. The piece is a deconstruction of Lewis Carroll’s famous tale. Aztec Economy will present Lavaman (July 15-18), written by Casey Wimpee and directed by Matthew Hancock, and about a shy comic illustrator in Queens who quietly expresses his repressed aggression in an unpublished graphic novel.

David Greenspan will star in Babes In Toyland (July 22-25), featuring a libretto based on Glen MacDonough’s original 1903 Broadway script. Michael Levinton and José Zayas will direct, with musical direction by Rodney Pallanck with Kate Marvin. International Wow will present the company’s latest, Reconstruction (July 29-August 1), conceived and created by Josh Fox & the WOW ensemble, focusing on a town destroyed by foreclosures, evictions and other calamities that rebuilds itself from the ground up.

In Conni’s Avant Garde Restaurant (August 5-8), the idea of art as food is made deliciously real. This ensemble-generated work includes a home-cooked five-course meal. The festival will conclude with Banana Bag & Bodice’s Space//Space (August 12-15), with music by Dave Malloy and direction by Mallory Catlett. In the piece, two brothers travel through the expansive galactic abyss, navigating their awkward fraternal bond and their love affairs with passing voices in the ether.
