The Gallery Players has announced its 2007-2008 slate of shows, to be presented at its theater in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

The season will kick off with John Guare's Six Degrees of Separation (September 15-30), about a hustler who gains entry into New York society by passing himself off as the rich, refined son of a celebrity. That production will be followed by the David Zellnik-Joseph Zellnik musical Yanks! (October 20-November 4), the story of a World War II army private and a male reporter who fall in love in a time and place where the odds are stacked against them. Up next is David Sedaris' The Santaland Diaries (December 1-16); adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello, the show is an acerbic account of Sedaris' experiences working as a Chrismas elf at Macy's.

That production will be followed by Andrew Lippa's musical The Wild Party (February 2-24), a tale of moral decadence and uncontrolled passion, set in the Roaring Twenties; and a new look at Aristophanes' classic comedy Lysistrata (March 15-30), about a group of women who withhold sexual favors from their men until an insane war is ended. The season will end with the classic musical Man of La Mancha (April 26-May 18). In addition, the company will present its 11th Annual Black Box New Play Festival (June 5-29).
