Jarrod Emick to Star in NMST's Contact

Tony Award winner Jarrod Emick will star as Michael Willey in the North Shore Music Theatre's production of Susan Stroman and John Weidman's dance play Contact, June 10-29. The production, which will open officially on June 12, will be directed and choreographed by Tomé Cousin.

The show consists of three separate pieces, "Swing," "Did You Move," and "Contact," set to such diverse music as Robert Palmer's "Simply Irressistible," Dean Martin's "You're Nobody Till Somebody Loves You," and Benny Goodman's "Sing Sing Sing."

The cast will also feature Naomi Hubert as A Girl in the Yellow Dress, Sally Mae Dunn as Wife, and Steve Luker as Husband, along with Sean Ewing, Jake Pfarr, Matt Rivera, Ariel Shepley, Monica Alicia Coates, Ivy Fox, Wilson Mendieta, Jeremy McQueen, Marcos Santana, Leeanna S. Smith, Mary Lynn Tiepp, Francis Toumbakaris, Wesley Edwards, and Hallie Metcalf. The creative team include Howard C. Jones (sets), Andrew Ostrowski (lighting), and John A Stone (sound).
