The Alumni Association of the New York International Fringe Festival will present THE FringeBENEFITS series, to celebrate the New York International Fringe Festival’s 15th anniversary, on Thursdays at The Laurie Beechman Theatre, May 5-August 11.

The series will offer a taste of 15 of the most beloved shows from the past 15 years of FringeNYC, as a full performance, reading, or concert. Casting and guest hosts for the series will be announced on a show-by-show basis.

The series will kick off with a concert featuring songs from Mark Hollman and Greg Kotis’ Urinetown (May 5); followed by a concert staging of Michael Roberts and Charlie Schulman’s The Fartiste (May 12); a full performance of Bess Wohl’s Cats Talk Back (May 19); and a concert staging of Kurt Gellersted, Brooke Fox, and Will Brumley’s Williamsburg: The Musical (May 26).

June presentations will feature a full performance of Jim David’s South Pathetic (June 2); a staged reading of Jason Mitchell’s The Boys Upstairs (June 9); a staged reading of Stan Richardson’s Veritas (June 16); a concert staging of Richard Caliban’s MoM – A Rock Concert (June 23); and a staged reading of David Ozanich’s The Lightning Field (June 30).

In July, the series will present a staged reading of Alexander Poe’s I Was Tom Cruise (July 7); a staged reading of Kyle Jarrow’s Armless (July 14); a full performance of Greg Allen, Danny Thompson and Ben Schneider’s The Complete Lost Works Of Samuel Beckett As Found In An Envelope (partially burned) In A Dustbin In Paris Labeled “Never to be performed. Never. Ever. EVER! Or I’ll Sue! I’LL SUE FROM THE GRAVE!” (July 21); and a full performance of Cynthia Silver’s solo, Bridezilla Strikes Back (July 28).

The series will wrap up in August with a full performance of John Clancy’s The Event, starring Matt Oberg (August 4); and a staged reading of Bert Royal’s Dog Sees God (August 11).
