Kim Cattrall, Matthew Macfadyen, Gillian Anderson, et.al. to Star in Any Human Heart

Matthew Macfadyen and Kim Cattrall, who are currently starring in Private Lives in the West End, will star in the U.K. Channel 4’s four-part mini-series Any Human Heart, an adaptation of William Boyd’s novel of the same name. Michael Samuels will direct using a script written by Boyd.

Any Human Heart focuses on writer Logan Gonzago Mountstuart who witnesses almost the entirety of the twentieth century. Macfadyen, along with Jim Broadbent and Sam Claflin will all take on the role of Mountstuart, portraying different at stages of his life.

The cast will include Gillian Anderson, Tom Hollander, Tobias Menzies, Emerald Fennell, Hayley Atwell, Natasha Little Julian Rhind-Tutt, Ed Stoppard, Samuel West, Freddie Fox, Hugh Skinner, Charity Wakefield and Lydia Wilson.
