Imagem Music Group to Buy Rodgers & Hammerstein Organization
RHO owns the rights to all of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s musicals. In addition, as a licensing agency, it represents more than 12,000 songs, 900 concert works, 200 writers and 100 musicals, including works by Irving Berlin and Rodgers & Hart, among others.
The company’s existing management team — led by Theodore S. Chapin, the organization’s president and executive director — will be retained after the sale.
