Cheryl Alexander, Chuck Cooper, Deborah Gibson, Montego Glover, Darren Ritchie, and Patrick Ryan Sullivan will star in the world premiere of the new musical Saint Heaven, to run June 1-11 at the Rich Forum in Stamford, Connecticut.

The show will be directed by Matt Lenz, and feature a book by Martin Casell and music and lyrics by Keith Gordon. It tells the story of a young doctor who returns to his childhood home in Kentucky for his father's funeral, and reconsiders returning to the north after falling in love with a young black female preacher whom he believes has epilepsy.

The show's creative team includes David Korins (set design), Robin Lee (costume design), and Paul Miller (lighting design). Lenz directed the New York International Fringe Festival hit The Irish Curse (written by Casella) and has worked on the Broadway productions of Hairspray and Beauty and the Beast.

Alexander was last seen on Broadway in Caroline, or Change. Cooper won the Tony Award for The Life, and was last on Broadway in Lennon. Gibson starred on Broadway in Cabaret and Beauty and the Beast. Glover's Broadway credits include Once on This Island and Sophisticated Ladies. Ritchie's Broadway credits include Dracula and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Sullivan was last seen Off-Broadway in Bingo and on Broadway in the revival of 42nd Street.
