Lucille Lortel Awards to Be Held on May 1 at Skirball Center for the Performing Arts

The Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway will be held at the Skirball Center for the Performing Arts on May 1, beginning at 7pm. Nominations will be announced on March 31.

The awards were created in 1985 by the Off-Broadway League, and honor playwrights, directors, actors, and designers.

This year’s ceremony will benefit The Actors Fund. Hosts, presenters, performers and more to be announced in the coming weeks.

Representatives of the Off-Broadway League, Actors’ Equity Association, Stage Directors & Choreographers Society, the Lucille Lortel Foundation, as well as theater journalists, academics and other Off-Broadway professionals serve on the Voting Committee.
