Chita Rivera to Introduce Films on Turner Classic Movies on April 8

Tony Award winner Chita Rivera will appear on Turner Classic Movies alongside host Robert Osborne for an evening of movies chosen by the star herself on Thursday, April 8, beginning at 8pm.


Rivera will introduce The Uninvited (1944), Frankenstein (1931), the live-action version of The Jungle Book (1942), and Wuthering Heights, starring Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon (1939).

Rivera’s many Broadway credits include Chita Rivera: The Dancer’s Life, The Rink, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Bring Back Birdie, Chicago, Merlin, Bye Bye Birdie, Sweet Charity and West Side Story.
