Original Side by Side by Sondheim stars Julia McKenzie, Millicent Martin, David Kernan, and Ned Sherrin will reunite for a one-night-only charity gala production of the beloved revue on Sunday, May 21 at London's Novello Theatre. All proceeds from the show will go to the Shooting Star Children's Hospice, which provides respite and end-of-life care to terminally ill children and their families.

The revue features songs from numerous Sondheim musicals including Company, Follies, and A Little Night Music. In addition to the four performers, there will be special guest stars during the evening. The show will be directed by Kernan, with staging by Bill Deamer and musical direction by Gareth Valentine.

Side by Side by Sondheim was first seen at London's Mermaid Theatre in 1976, and transferred to Broadway in April 1977. That production ran for nearly 400 performances, and was nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
