BC / EFA Auctions August: Osage County with Estelle Parsons VIP Package

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is auctioning off a special VIP package created by Academy Award winning actress Estelle Parsons and the producers of the Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning hit play, August: Osage County, in which she stars as pill-popping matriarch, Violet.

The package will include a pair of VIP seats to a performance of the show, currently playing on Broadway at The Music Box Theatre; a guided backstage tour; a photo op with Parsons; a poster autographed by the entire company; and Parsons’s working script — complete with autographed Polaroid photos of the cast, costume sketches, prop plots, and staging and directorial notes written in Parson’s hand. The script is bound in a black leather binder used by Parsons while she played Roseanne’s mother on the television hit Roseanne, and bears that show’s logo on the cover.

BC/EFA began its “Extraordinary EBay” online fundraising initiative in August 2009. It is geared at providing “once in a lifetime” theatrical experiences and extremely rare one-of-a-kind items to the highest bidder.
