F. Murray Abraham, Tyne Daly, Blythe Danner, Rosemary Harris, Cady Huffman, Dana Ivey, Ann Meara, Lee Roy Reams, Rufus Sewell, K.T. Sullivan, and Jerry Stiller are among the stars to salute honoree Julie Harris at The Actors Company Theatre's 15th anniversary crystal gala, to be held at the Hudson Theatre on March 3.
The event, which will begin at 6:30pm, will include cocktails, dinner, a silent and live auction, and a performance including a tribute to Ms. Harris.
Harris is the most honored performer in Tony Awards history with 10 nominations and five wins; she took home the statuette for I Am a Camera, The Lark, Forty Carats, The Last of Mrs. Lincoln, and The Belle of Amherst. Her extensive film and television credits include The Member of the Wedding, East of Eden, and Knots Landing. She is also the recipient of the National Medal for the Arts in 1994, a Tony award for Special Lifetime Achievement in 2002, and the Drama Desk Career Achievement award in 2005.
