Principal casting has been announced for Charlie Kaufman’s upcoming film, Frank or Francis, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Elizabeth Banks, Jack Black, Nicolas Cage, Steve Carell, Catherine Keener and Tony Award winner Kevin Kline will star in the film, which is described as a musical satire that follows a battle of wills between Frank, an intellectual film director (Carell) and Francis, an online blogger (Black) who still lives with his parents and who delights in attacking the other man’s films.

Kaufman wrote and directed Synecdoche, New York and penned the screenplays for Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Adaptation and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind.
