Frank Langella, Cyndi Lauper, Mandy Patinkin, et al. to Appear at 92nd Street Y

The 92nd Street Y has announced its lineup of 2012 winter and spring programming.


Celebrities scheduled to appear there include Marlo Thomas and John Turturro (January 16), Alan Zweibel (January 21), Mandy Patinkin (February 6), Katie Couric (March 1), Frank Langella (April 1), Cyndi Lauper (April 24), Neil Sedaka (May 2), and Rufus Wainwright (May 16).


Other events will include a special edition of Celebrity Autobiography (February 14); Jordan Roth’s Broadway Talks series with guests Harry Connick, Jr. (February 7), and Nick Jonas (March 4); and the 92Y Jazz series with Sandy Stewart and Bill Charlap (February 29) and Kurt Elling (April 25).

In addition, the popular Lyrics & Lyricists series continues with “Songs of America,” created and hosted by Ted Sperling, and starring Lawrence Clayton and Clarke Thorell (February 11-13); “In Perfect Harmony,” created and hosted by Rob Fisher (March 24-26); “Mad Dogs & Educated Fleas: Noel & Cole: A Battle of Wits,” created and hosted by Mark Waldrop (May 5-7); and “It’s Magic: Nine Decades of Songs From Warner Bros,” created and hosted byRex Reed, and starring Polly Bergen, Jason Graae, and Tom Wopat.
