The Paley Center for Media in New York has announced that it will host a special event with Tony Award winner and 2011 Oscar nominee Christopher Plummer on Monday, May 7 at 6pm. Film critic David Edelstein will moderate the event.
Additional upcoming events at the Center include a viewing party for the ABC sitcom Cougar Town with special guests including stars Courtney Cox, Dan Byrd, Christa Miller, Josh Hopkins, Ian Gomez, and Brian Van Holt and co-creators Bill Lawrence and Kevin Biegel on Saturday, February 11 at 6pm; a screening of the new direct-to-video film Justice League: Doom and a panel discussion with stars Kevin Conroy and Phil Morris on Monday, February 13 at 6:30pm; and a discussion of NBC’s reality series Who Do You Think You Are? featuring executive producer Lisa Kudrow on Wednesday, February 22 at 6:30pm.
Finally, the Center will host an Academy Awards Viewing Party, with live commentary by New York Times writers A.O. Scott and David Carr, on Sunday, February 26 at 7pm.
