Final casting has been announced for Broadway Backwards 4, in which performers sing tunes usually associated with the opposite gender. The event, which will be held at the American Airlines Theatre at 8pm on Monday, February 9, benefits the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center.
The event's creator, Robert Bartley, will direct the show, which will feature choreography by Penny Ann Mays. John Kander and Terrence McNally will serve as co-chairs.
Performers for the event will include Sandra Bernhard, Florence Henderson, Maureen McGovern, Cheyenne Jackson, Sally Mayes,Tony Yazbeck, Mario Cantone, Alan Cumming, Gina Gershon, Whoopi Goldberg, Aaron Lazar, Becki Newton, Jai Rodriguez, Christopher Sieber, John Tartaglia, Marty Thomas, Michael Urie, Ron Palillo, Len Cariou, Rue McLanahan,.Nancy Anderson, Jenna Coker-Jones, Jenn Colella, Jessica Lee Goldyn, Deidre Goodwin, Jose Llana, and Kirsten Wyatt.
The creative team includes Paul Staroba (musical director). Paul Miller (lighting), Real Live Audio (sound), and Lane Fragomeli (costumes).
