(© Marty Umans) | Opera legend Marilyn Horne will be celebrated at Carnegie Hall at 2pm on Sunday, January 18 with a concert in honor of her 75th birthday and the 15th anniversary of the Marilyn Horne Foundation.
The event, to be co-hosted by Samuel Ramey and Frederica von Stade, will include the world premiere of a quintet composed for the occasion by William Bolcom and Sheldon Harnick.
Among the many guest performers will be David Daniels, Joyce DiDonato, Susan Graham, Thomas Hampson, Dimitri Hvorostovsky, Karita Matilla, James Morris, and Brian Zeger.
