Former Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal will participate in three projects related to The Backyardigans, an animated children's show on Nickelodeon television. He will play the Narrator in a new hour-long TV movie, Tale of the Mighty Knights, premiering Monday, January 14 at 7 pm; he will be one of the featured artists -- along with Cyndi Lauper and Alicia Keyes -- on the CD Born to Play (Nickelodeon/Sony BMG), to be released on January 22; and he will perform the ballad "Not An Egg" in Backyardigans Live!, a live theatrical presentation that will kick off a 50-city national tour in York, Pennsylvania on March 28.

Pascal is best known for his Tony-nominated performance as Roger Davis in the original cast of Rent, which he recreated for the film version. His other Broadway credits includes Aida and Cabaret. He will be seen on January 13-14 in a concert presentation of Paul Scott Goodman's Alive in the World at the Zipper Theater. He will also soon launch a national concert tour, and will appear at Feinstein's at the Loews Regency in May.
