This show is part of the Two-Fer Two Weeks Festival.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Over 50 years Maurice Sendak has gained fame as an illustrator and author of children's books, including Where the Wild Things Are and In the Night Kitchen as well as picture books for adults like Brundibar with text by Tony Kushner, as well as set and costume design for operas such as The Magic Flute, Brundibar, and Hansel and Gretel and ballet. The exhibition includes over 100 works: drawings, sketches, costumes and sets representing various stages of the artistic process.
Exhibition Hours: Sun-Wed 11am-5:45pm; Thurs 11am-8pm; Fri 11am-3pm
