Turns of the Centuries presents a vast array of works for solo piano that represent dramatic and influential shifts from Classicism to Romanticism and from the last days of tonality to the new musical languages of the first decade of the 20th century, as well as works written in the last ten years that suggest the creative impulses and possibilities of contemporary composition. At the forefront of their generation, these pianists bring this music to life with powerfully original and highly sensitive and nuanced interpretations of this stunning diversity of repertoire.
