The New York Arab-American Comedy Festival features America's top Arab-American comics. The Arab headliner shows will be Tuesday, Nov. 14th at 9:15 and Wedesday, Nov. 15th at 9:00 PM. Comics scheduled to appear in those shows include Ahmed Ahmed (November 14 only), Aron Kader (Comedy Central, "Axis of Evil" Comedy Tour), Dean Obeidallah (Comedy Central's "The Watch List," Air America radio), Maysoon Zayid (MTV, CNN), Helen Maalik (Oxygen Network), Kerri Louise (Comedy Central), Joe DeRosa (NBC's "Last Call") and from Australia Maysa Abouzeid.

The "New Faces of Arab Comedy" will be on Wednesday, November 15 at 7:00 PM and will feature the top up and coming Arab-American comics. The show will be hosted by national headliner Aron Kader and features Amanda Baramki, Suzy Salamy, Mohamed Masoud, Maria Shehata, Amer Zahr, Maysa Abouzeid with appearances by headliners Maysoon Zayid and Dean Obeidallah.

This year's participants include from Waleed Zuiater (The Public Theater's Mother Courage and Stuff Happens), Leila Sbitani (Host of Nickelodeon's Hi-Jinks), comedian Aron Kader ("Axis of Evil" comedy Tour), Hend Ayoub (the new movie Death of an American President aka "D.O.A.P") Festival co-founders Dean Obeidallah (I Come in Peace, and co-producer/co-star of Comedy Central's The Watch List) and Maysoon Zayid (comedian and actress, who has been featured on NBC's Nightly News, MTV, and As the World Turns).
