WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
We begin the New Year with one of the towering choral masterpieces of world history, Verdi's glorious Requiem, featuring our region's leading choral ensemble, AlbanyPro Musica.
Equal parts sacred masterwork and full-blooded Italian opera, the Requiem is the most theatrical, gripping sacred work of all time. With four glorious operatic soloists and a chorus of 130 voices, this dramatic and heartfelt work is an emotional tour-de-force.
