WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Ragtime, Once on this Island) have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters a musical with mass appeal. The show is light and effervescent and draws occasionally on pop influences ranging from the Beach Boys to gospel and salsa to, yes, the theme from Shaft. Seussical proves to be an evening of theatre for everyone, young or old. The powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant in a story that makes you laugh and cry.

This was a fantastic production of this musical. Over all it is not one of my favorite shows, however this cast brought it to life! Its was funny, heartfelt and entertaining!
After the show I learned that the company uses its productions to give young aspiring actors the chance to work with pros, hence all of the children in the show! This gave me all the more reason to want to support it!
It was a joy!
