In the process of establishing a major career, the Jupiter String Quartet, Caramoor's 2005/06 Ernst Stiefel String Quartet-in-Residence, makes its triumphant return to the festival with an impassioned and intriguing program: Beethoven's heroic Harp quartet, Ramshackle Songs composed for them by the young Dan Visconti, followed by one of the most beloved of all chamber works, Schumann's Piano Quintet, with 1997 Van Cliburn Gold medalist pianist Jon Nakamatsu.
