The critically acclaimed Evidence, A Dance Company, founded by dancer/choreographer Ronald K. Brown, celebrates the start of their next 20 years in the international dance community with its 2007 Winter Gala, Grace In Winter. Lowery Stokes Sims, the world renowned art expert, author, historian, former president of the Studio Museum in Harlem and now adjunct curator of the Museum's permanent collection, is chairing the event. The evening starts with a cocktail reception at 6:30pm in the stately halls of the landmark Hudson Theatre, followed by a formal dinner at 7:30 pm and the company's performance at 9:00pm, both in the theater proper. The program features the company's most recent works, One Shot: First Glance and Truth Don Die, as well as Evidence's signature piece, Grace.
