Theatrical designer and stage director Michael Counts helms The Walking Dead Experience, a new immersive theatrical attraction based on the world of The Walking Dead, which will make its New York-area premiere during the Walker Stalker Con from December 4-6 at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. The Walking Dead Experience is presented by Walker Stalker Con, in partnership with Robert Kirkman’s Skybound Entertainment.

Experienced in small (7-person) audience groups and set in over 10,000 square feet of highly produced sets, The Walking Dead Experience – Chapter 1 sends participants "on an adventure through the edge of a small town on the night the outbreak hit — the night zombies began their rampage and the social order began to unravel." The experience lasts anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the ticket purchased. Subsequent productions will continue the stories and experiences introduced in Chapter 1.

Counts’ production team includes Ryan O’Gara (lighting), Matt Haber and Phil Gulley (video and special effects), Caleb Sharp (sound design), and Katie Fleming (prop design).
