Under the new leadership of George Steel, New York City Opera will present the long-awaited revival of Hugo Weisgall's Esther. Before the opening, join key members of the original creative team, including librettist Charles Kondek and soprano Lauren Flanigan, as well as Steel, for a discussion and demonstration of the creation and recreation of this great American opera. NYCO cast members will perform excerpts.
