West End Blues: The Louis Armstrong Musical stars Broadway's Andre DeShields (The Full Monty) in the title role. The musical tells the story of "Satchmo," his triumphs and heartaches, and how his life intersected the turbulent history of American events and changed the world of jazz.

The event is also a benefit for Lehman Center. Tickets to the performance only are $10 and available through 718-960-8833; benefit tickets are $75 and available through 718-960-8232. The benefit includes supper on the Lovinger Theater stage at 6:00pm, followed by the performance at 8:00pm.
