The Jazz cat is back with six shows of The Cat Who Went To Heaven at The Harlem School of the Arts. Based on the Newbery Award-winning children's book by Elizabeth Coatsworth, The Cat Who Went to Heaven is a captivating show about the intertwined fates of a struggling Japanese artist, his housekeeper, a Buddhist priest from the local temple and an inspirational cat named Good Fortune. The show an opportunity to introduce your children to the delights of jazz and the art of Japanese Bunraku puppetry, with a jazz score by Nancy Harrow.
