WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Sherie Rene Scott offers a one-night-only performance of her solo show You May Worship Me Now, as a benefit for the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative. The event, presented by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, is held in lieu of this year's Nothing Like A Dame benefit.

Previously seen at the Zipper Theater, the show was conceived and written by Scott and Dick Scanlan. It is directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer and features musical direction by Tom Kitt. The autobiographical show features songs made famous by such icons as Judy Garland, Rickie Lee Jones, Tom Waits, and Mr. Rogers.
