WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Friends In Deed presents a special 10th anniversary concert of Passion, featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book and direction by James Lapine.

The concert will feature the original Broadway leading ladies Donna Murphy (Fosca) and Marin Mazzie (Clara) and star of the 2002 Kennedy Center production Michael Cerveris (Giorgio) along with other original Broadway cast members.

Set in 19th century Italy, Passion is the tale of a handsome army captain, separated from his beautiful -- but married -- mistress. He is forced to re-evaluate his beliefs about love when he becomes the object of the obsessive, unrelenting passions of Fosca, his Colonel's plain, sickly cousin.
