This evening features the New York Premiere of a live 30 minute solo piece, Noor, (choregraphed by Felicia Norton and Sasha Spielvogel, performed by Felicia Norton) that tells the incredible story of Noor Inayat Khan (1914-1944) a Sufi pacifist turned allied spy and first female wireless operator in France during WWII. Also featured is the World Premiere of a 40 minute dance film, Dark Angel (directed and choreographed by Sasha Spielvogel, starring Hannu Hyttinen), a poetic musing on God's most beautiful angel. It was shot in the Orensanz Center and Castle Olavinlinna, Finland. The performance is followed by a delightful buffet of Finnish and Kosher food and drink.
