WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Euan Morton performs in concert at the Oak Room. Among his selections are 'Pure Imagination' (Lesley Bricusse and Anthony Newley), 'Hallelujah' (Leonard Cohen), 'Matelot' (Noël Coward), 'Smile' (Charlie Chaplin-John Turner-Geoffrey Parsons), 'Children Will Listen' (Stephen Sondheim), 'You Got It' (Roy Orbison) and'You Go To My Head' (J. Fred Coots and Haven Gillespie), among others. Bryan Reeder is Musical Director/Pianist, with Calvin Crosby on bass and Will Clark, percussion. Director is Lee Armitage.

Euan Morton begins his show Here and Now at the Algonquin Hotel's Oak Room with "Pure Imagination" -- and booking this young, velvet-voiced star into the venerable cabaret space for a month-long stint took just that kind of free-thinking.
