WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

In conjunction with the Public's current production of Dogeaters, the theater presents Conversations With...Portable Cultures, Global Identities. Panelists include Dogeaters playwright Jessica Hagedorn, as well as Coco Fusco, Martin Roberts, and Kelefa Sanneh. The session addresses questions of how we define cultural identities in an era of globalization and what is gained and lost in uncovering our fractured identities. Kwame Anthony Appiah moderates.

This event is FREE and open to the general public.
