WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Cats, the longest-running show in Broadway history, plays its final performance on Sunday, September 10. But before they can close their doors for good, they're having a garage sale! Everything from props to costumes to signage and other assorted backstage memorabilia is up for grabs. The auction commences at 4pm. Items available to the highest bidder include: the tire in which Grizabella and Deuteronomy ascend to the Heaviside Layer, their costumes, Shimbleshanks "The Railway Cat" train pieces, and the shoe which falls onto the stage in the first act. Everything must go! Get it now. It won't last forever.
All proceeds go directly to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
