The first "MetroStar Talent Challenge" winner Anne Steele, who just headlined at The Metropolitan Room from February 18 to 22 in the premiere of Strings Attached, has been invited to extend her highly acclaimed new show. Intersecting pop and traditional sensibilities, Strings Attached includes songs by Britney Spears, Pink, Queen, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan and Stephen Sondheim among others.

Steele's band includes Sean Harkness on guitar; Kathryn Andersen on violin; Matt Zalkind on cello; Taylor Hollyer on bass; Liz Lark Brown, back-up vocals; and Kenny Davidsen, the music director and arranger on piano. Lennie Watts is the director.
